The Eco Insulation Canterbury team have installed Jet Stream MAX, high performance blown glasswool insulation into the Marriott House. This is the first Passive House for Christchurch, and based on the design will not require any heating for the house to perform both in winter and summer for the owners. Jet Stream MAX is a dry blow-in insulation from Knauf Insulation that is silicone treated, non-combustible glasswool. Designed for injection into walls, ceilings and closed cavities. The system creates a thermal, acoustic and fire-resistant barrier. The product comprehensively fills gaps, voids and hard to reach areas around pipes, electrical wires and fixtures.
