ecotherm® is our NZ made underfloor insulation - consisting of polyester fibres creating a soft, easy to handle, friendly product. ecotherm complies with the insulation standard AS/NZS 4859.1.

Product detail

Supplied as a blanket ready to roll out and fixed between floor joists. For best results ask one of our professional Accredited Installers to install for you.

Identifying it

ecotherm® insulation is white. ecotherm® packs are labelled to identify the specific R-value, coverage per pack in square metres (m2), material width, unit number or length of material, nominal thickness, minimum weight and date of manufacture.

Sustainability

ecotherm® and its packaging is recyclable. Recycled ecotherm® reuses waste polyester fibres as an integral part of product manufacture.

Warranty

ecotherm® is warranted to comply with the Building Code.

ecotherm®, with normal maintenance, will continue to satisfy Building Code performance requirements for the following applications, and for not less than 15 years;

for installation that are moderately difficult to access or replace (for example, the building envelope, exposed insulation in the sub-floor space)

and including for which failure to comply with the Building Code would go undetected during the building's normal use, but can be easily detected during maintenance such as open access ceiling insulation.
